Sharon Raymond Notice the little logo on the sandal strap?! I just received an alphabet set from www.etsy/shop/CustomMadeStuff (I decided it will be my birthday present) that will allow me to add personalized names to a logo tag I will be including with the purchase of a simpleshoemaking kit.
Pinterest led me to Fungus Workshop in Hong Kong, http://www.fungusworkshop.net/, which apparently is a place where you can go in and make something from leather – mostly I saw handbags, camera bags, etc, but there were occasional shoes. I scrolled through so many projects that my fingerprint almost rubbed off!
For me the highlight was seeing these sandals, so beautiful in colored leather. I have made pairs of these but wasn’t settled on how to secure the toe strap; here I see two little stitches on each side of the toe strap, a perfect solution.
