Beautiful crocheted soles for your espadrilles

From Ingunn Santini:
Allow me to introduce The Cord Sole!Tailored Method Suitable for any foot-size and shoe-project.The simple design of Espadrillas, is my great inspiration designing crochet slippers.
Espadrillas are originally simple handmade canvas shoes with rope-soles, produced in Spain for hundreds of years (And other places world-wide, only named differently).This sole is my final solution in order to turn crochet slippers into street shoes!
With stubborn obsession, I have worked out a method for how to make attachable cord-soles for finished crochet (or knit-) slippers.
The method is adaptable for ANY foot-shape and -size.
You can also continue to crochet a shoe on top of the sole.Handmade insoles will add extra comfort and softness, and keep the slippers in shape.
Personalize the soles with matching fabric, …. and labels! A very good gift-idea!Attaching out- and insoles to basic slippers, has several advantages. They protect your slippers against wear and tear, makes them sturdy and comfortable to walk and wear, it looks nice, and not least;
It turns your home slippers into street shoes!You only need basic crochet and craft-skills to make these soles. VERY detailed step-by-step instructions with pics!
No sole-hole-punching! No seaming!
