– small-head hammer if nailing soles together

– strap material, 5-7-ounce latigo or vegetable-tanned leather
– ½” buckles if needed- small rivets if needed
– Ecoweld water-based contact cement
– topsoles – usually 7-8 or 9-10 ounce vegetable-tanned leather
– midsoles – usually 7-8 ounce vegetable-tanned leather
– bottom soles – 9-10 ounce vegetable-tanned leather, natural rubber or other
– clinching nails if you are nailing soles together
– stitching awl thread
– beeswax or other edge sealer
